We have a number of different options for individuals and small teams to get out and play.
Self-Guided Hunts: Play un-hosted solo or small team adventures.
Mastermind Distractions: Starting in March of 2023, we will be offering a free weekly puzzle that will be available on our YouTube channel.
Free Family-friendly Hunts: Play for free at select locations in San Francisco.
Public Hunts: Once or twice-a-year we offer large-scale public events open to anyone to come out and play. Currently postponed.
Self-Guided Hunts
Looking for a short fun event to play on your own or with a small group? For that, Mastermind has created site-specific, un-hosted hunts that can be played whenever you wish using your phone or other wireless device.
Each of these information-based puzzle scavenger hunts plays on the ClueKeeper app and may be started at any time and completed at your own pace.

Mastermind Distractions
Take a break from your workday and do a puzzle! Presented on our YouTube page, these puzzles are intended as a break in your day to let your brain unwind a bit from the usual routine. Watch the video, download the PDF, and solve. Then, check your answer on our solutions page. If you’ve missed a week, visit our puzzle archive where all previous postings will be available. We are planning to release weekly puzzles from March 2023 to October 2023.

Free family-friendly hunts.
The Agents-in-Charge at Mastermind like to make free events available for anyone to play. These hunts are a great way for less-experienced puzzlers to get a taste of what we do. Public Hunts
Assemble your teams, mark your calendars, and prepare to exercise your brains! Mastermind offers public scavenger hunts and treasure hunts two or more times a year. These open-to-anyone puzzle hunts are a great exercise for both mind and body. We supply the map and clues - you bring your wits, a good pair of shoes, and a sense of adventure.
